  • Malocclusion improved!

Before I decided to have surgery, I had an orthodontic treatment due to malocclusion. After the correction, I thought that the malocclusion was treated and it was solved, but as a year and two years went by, the teeth gradually opened again and recurred to the malocclusion. I went to the dentist again and as It hasn't been three months yet, so I can't chew as well as before the surgery because my bones aren't all attached, but I'm eating well. After three months, the bones are completely attached and can be eaten like before surgery, so there are only a few days left. These days, it is not difficult because of surgery, but because of correction. Nowadays, because of the braces, your mouth can be torn apart, but you can't open it much because of the braces. Exercise one's mouth when you get over again in your mouth. The swelling goes down a lot and there seems to be a little left to see, but people don't know if they don't talk. He said that malocclusion was originally likely to recur and that it could recur even if it was corrected again. But as time went by, I cut the noodles off using my tongue and upper teeth, and every time, my jaw came forward, so I felt that it was getting worse as time went by, and I decided to operate.

It took longer to chew food because even half of the teeth were not used. As a result, it always took me a long time to eat with other people, and others waited as if they understood. As I ate food using only molars, my jaw joint also made sounds. And since I couldn't cut the food with my teeth, I always needed scissors to eat big food. My teeth are open, so my mouth is open even if I don't look at it. My mouth keeps open even when I sleep, so I think I have a severe snoring.

Post OP 1 Day

I think I was really out of my mind for about six hours as soon as I left the operation room. I thought it would be hard not to drink water, but it was so hard not to sleep during that time. It was hard to breathe because of the tube in the nose, and the throat was swollen, so it was hard to drink water. I thought it would be nice to take out a tube on my nose as soon as tomorrow. I couldn't breathe well, so I woke up once or twice an hour.

Post OP 3 Days

I ate plain yogurt and soup today. The rubber band was hung on the tooth, so it was not possible to open the mouth, but it was possible to pass it over to a teaspoon. I heard that it will be swollen more tomorrow, so I hope the swelling goes away after a week.

Post OP 4 Days

I heard that my face is swollen the most on the 5th day, but I am also worried about how swollen it will be tomorrow. I still have pain in my mouth or chin once in a while, and I try to sleep to endure it whenever I do that.

Post OP 5 Days

Today, I went for a walk outside for the first time. Walking outside after a long time was much better than lying down at home. It feels like the pain is disappearing. I have pain in my teeth because of the rubber band hanging, so I can endure it without any inconvenience except for a little pain. I hope we can get rid of the rubber band next week.

Post OP 8 Days

I went to the hospital for disinfection. I wondered if I could take out the rubber band, but I decided to take it out when I remove the stitches next week. I can lie down and sleep from today, and now I don't have a problem breathing, and it's hard for me to have a prickly pain in mouth area.

Post OP 15 Days

I finally got rid of the stitches today. I was very worried because I saw a lot of people saying that I was painful, but it hurt less than I thought. Everywhere else was fine, but it hurt the most when doctor did it on my lower gums. But I'm glad that I'm able to eat more and not get sick when I smile!

Post OP 21 Days

I heard that after surgery, each person can have a toothache or a tremor, but in the beginning, I thought I didn't have any symptoms of coldness teeth, but none of them are shaking, but my teeth are freezing these days.

Post OP 22 Days

I want to eat healthier food!

Post OP 23 Days

I have a sudden nosebleed, and I don't know if it's surgery or I'm not eating well, so I'm not sure if I'm weak or tired.

Post OP 28 Days

I want you to take out the wafer and remove the screw in my mouth.

Post OP 30 Days

I removed the mouth screw. It's so comfortable to remove a screw. My mouth, which hurt a little every time I smile from the screw, is no longer painful. I was afraid it would hurt a lot when I removed it, but it didn't hurt at all.

Post OP 43 Days

There is nothing sick, and there is just the thought of when the swelling will go away. I am wearing wafers because I have not started braces yet, but I think it is more comfortable to wear wafers than not wearing them.

Post OP 60 Days

My sensation is coming back a lot, but there are still times when my lips feel prickly. I think the roof of my mouth is back to some extent. Doctor say that swelling goes down until a year late, so I'll wait slowly.

Post OP 66 Days

I finally took out the wafer and started braces today. These days, I eat almost everything well, but my jaw is still weak, so my chewing speed is slower than others. My pronunciation was very bad because of the wafer, but now that I removed the wafer, I feel much more comfortable speaking.

My friends said that the impression is much softer and younger than before. I heard that swelling goes down for a year, but I think my face is really different from one month to another. In fact, I can't feel it well when I look in the mirror every day, but I can see something else when I look at the pictures.

Post OP 5 Months

It's been a long time since I met my parents, and they ask me if I lost more weight every time I see them, but I always weigh the same. I wonder if it's because I'm less swollen every time I see them after a long time. I don't feel it, but people who haven't seen it for a long time feel it? The braces are in progress and the intersection is also in place. To be honest, I have only done braces for three to four months now, but I have obtained very satisfactory results in the authoring function because it seems that the occlusion has settled down.

Post OP 7 Months

I'm expecting a year of braces, but I hope that half a year will come when I can eat and laugh comfortably without braces. Still, I am spending happier days than before the surgery. I think I've changed my impression because I've had braces or lost weight for. I've been told every time that I've become like a baby face!

Post OP 10 Months

I contacted the hospital to find out about the pin removal surgery, but I was worried that it would be as tough as it was when I did the surgery, so I asked this and that. It's a much simpler surgery, but I was worried that I might not be able to eat food again, but he said it wasn't like that's not the case.

Post OP 12 Months

By this time, the swelling has gone down to some extent. Maybe it's because the braces hasn't finished yet, but I think there's a place where the lines aren't organized well, but compared to before...Lol. I'm satisfied with my current face. These days, I mostly tie my hair that I never used to tie in the past.
