The motivation of the surgery
I felt insecure every single time when I see my
protruding lower jaw and long face. It was stressful when people ask me If I am
mad or upset when I am fine. Also, sometimes people point out that why am I
eating food like an old person, and pronunciation was leaked when I speaking.
Any hairstyle didn't look good on me, and I gradually lost confidence and
covered my face wherever I need to take pictures. I decided to have surgery to
overcome my complex and gain confidence.
Why EU?
It's famous and I read a lot of reviews on the internet.
The biggest reason I chose it was because my friend had surgery in the EU. So I chose it because I trust it more.

Post OP 1 Day
When I just got out of surgery, I had a hard time
breathing and I was so thirsty. I wanted to drink water and sleep, but I was so
distressed because am not allowed to do it. The nurse told me that I could
drink water later, but it was hard to drink it. Almost everything was spilled
when I drink it. I woke up early in the morning because I felt uncomfortable
sleeping, and I felt nauseous because of phlegm stuck in my throat in the
middle, but it got better after the day was bright.

Finally, I can wash properly for the first time after the
surgery and I wanted to take off, tapes on my face. When will the face swelling
go away? It's still hard to breathe through my nose. If it's easier to breathe
through my nose, it will be much easier to sleep at night.

My butt hurts so much because I always try to sleep at an
angle. Still, breathing parts and small things seem to be getting better day by
day. The wafer in my mouth keeps falling out and I wonder how long I have to
eat it little by little with a syringe. Is there any food I can eat other than
New Care and Ion Beverage?

Is something less swollen in the meantime? I wanted to,
but I definitely felt like the swelling has been reduced. The bruises on my
face turned yellowish and brown, and when I checked, I found that my neck was
yellow. I liked it because I couldn't tell if my face was swollen even when I
went out wearing a mask. Also, I can eat much better than last time!

I was worried because many people said it hurts a lot
when the doctor stitches it out but it didn't hurt at all. It was similar to
when I remove stitches on wisdom teeth. I don't know if I'm getting used to it
or getting better after two weeks, but I feel much better! I still look in the
mirror whenever I have time, but my face is still strange. I hope to get used
to it with my face soon!

After surgery, I went out after putting on makeup for the
first time. I tried to cover the bruise with makeup, but I couldn't cover it.
My right cheek is still puffy. It's more comfortable now that I can take out a
wafer and put it on when I eat. I want to open my mouth a lot quickly.!

I met my friends and some friends told me that there is
not that big difference better before and after surgery. And some other friend
told me that am sure if I just did double jaw surges? I'm eating all the food I
can chew these days, but I'm gaining weight again because I ate so well. But
it's good to be able to chew.

Still, I can't eat any tough and hard food. The swelling
under my cheeks and chin remains the same. Now I'm confused whether it's just
my fat or swelling. I was happy that my relatives whom I met recently told me
that I looked much better after surgery. .

I had short hair for the first time in my life. Until
now, I was busy covering my chin with long hair, and I thought I would never
look good with short hair because of my long face. I was concerned about the
reactions around me and I was afraid of people's eyes. Even after the surgery,
I had a lot of worries about having short hair, but I cut off. Although my face
has changed and the reactions around me have changed after the surgery, the
biggest change is that I have confidence in myself and my self-esteem has
increased.

What's uncomfortable is that I still have a tingling
sensation in my mouth. Except for this, there's nothing uncomfortable it
anymore. I met a friend a few years ago, and she said she could not tell that I
underwent double jaw surgery and she just said she wouldn't recognize me. LOL
It's fun to see people's reactions

Today, I went to a cafe with my friend and showed her
some selfies right after the surgery, and she was very surprised. She told me
that the swelling would have been this bad and she couldn't believe it had
already gone this far. I was happy that she told me that outcome of the surgery
is good!

I'm taking out two screws from my upper gums today. I was
worried that it would hurt, but I didn't feel like taking it out. Is this
normal? I read a lot of posts saying that I was painful... I don't know if I'm
still numb or not. When I meet my high school friends, they always told me that
my mood has changed the most among other graduates. I hear that I look younger
than when I was a senior in high school.

Also, my friend told me that I am getting prettier J

I eat all the food well after the operation. I ate soft
jerky with my front teeth. It was awkward because it was my first time eating
it with my front teeth, but it was good. LOL I remember chewing bacon while
eating cream pasta and spitting it out because I couldn't eat pieces of bacon
after surgery. I ate more deliciously.

I eat so well that I feel like I'm gaining weight. ^^;;

Last time, the doctor told me that braces will be
finished in 3~4 months, so I am waiting for that day. I have to do maintenance,
but I can't wait to stop wearing braces!
