The reason why I decided to do the surgery

I was stress out at looking at my face due to long face, lantern jaw and especially I do not like the side profile that I look older than her age. Also, when times goes my asymmetric face got worse. First of all, I have stressed due to the pronunciation was incorrect because of 3rd malocclusion. I really want to get into this major which is count a lot on the appearance.

Why am I decided to do surgery at EU?

Since double jaw surgery is kind of big surgery compare to other surgery that I have been searching for the information a lot through application or acquaintance. That finally I made my decision to do the consultation at EU! .

1^st, I visited a plastic surgery hospital since my friend recommends me but I get a broken heart from the hospital and cannot trust them that I just came back.

2^nd, when I search it I heard that double jaw surgery must be done at Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Center.

I am still a minor, and I have to go to counsel with my dad they are really worried about my surgery. Even my dad was not active about the fact that I want to do facial bone surgery. But after received a consultation, he made a deposit on that day, confirmed the date of the surgery. I think because the doctor was really trustworthy. Certainly, unlike ordinary plastic surgeons, the doctor only caught the necessary parts that I need surgery on. Because He was sympathetic to the patient’s perspective and had the counseling, he was able to turn my dad’s heart even if I tried to persuade him for a few days. In conclusion, the doctor’s true heart, experience, patient-oriented mind, trustworthiness, the kindness of the consultant and the EU staff made me choose EU!

Post Operation Day

I did not expect to be this tough L It was painful and so hard to breathe.. It was so tough. I was really sleepy and everything was very uncomfortable. But when time goes, I found out how to breathe. Also, the nurse was taking care of me so well! She was very kind and nice. Thank you!

Post OP 1 Day

I feel much comfortable after removing the tube from the nose. I heard that doctor will do dressing for me today, I can expect that I can feel much better after he dressing for me!~ I finally I drink something that is not water, which is new care! Also, I got laser treatment today which is so warm!!~ and good for deswelling

Post OP 2 Days

Today, I was less thirsty than yesterday, so I was able to eat water with new care more easily! I am happy that I can feel much comfortable than yesterday. I am going to be discharged today. As soon as I wake up, I am being treated for laser treatment, eating new medicine, disinfecting my mouth, and waiting for my device to be inserted. My face was really asymmetrical that doctor must be cut the different amount of left and right bone. So, I think that is the main reason what my swelling of the right and the left side is different. Also, the nurse told me not to worry too much! My condition is better than the 1st day and the mood is better.

Post OP 4 Days

Today, I fell asleep very well than I expected, got up and ate all of the porridge, took medicine and showered. I took the tape off from my face and it was really hard for me to get rid of it. I feel a little better today. Except that I want to eat a lot of foooood! I am hungry.. I want to eat Spicy Rice Cake and pork cutlet ㅠ I should endure for a month. But I am really happy since I feel like my face change a lot!

It was tough day because of the swelling, but I think I have been taking good care of myself! Since I take a walk & medicine well! Also, I can sleep very well and recover pretty fast compare to other people! I really wish that I can eat cold noddle & ramen soon! I worried that my left and right swelling is reducing differently so that I asked my consultant and she said that it happens that often that I do not need to worry about it! Please!!!~

I visited the hospital today for deswelling laser treatment After I met doctor Kim, I felt much better and comfortable., Also, I do not need to war facial pressure bandage anymore and I can remove wafer while I am having a meal! I love the fact that I can brush my teeth with a baby brush! Especially, I think major swell is reduced already!

I ate a lot of things today, in the morning I drink cup noodle soup and ate small noodles and of course! I brush my teeth well! Also, I ate very soft bread with milk & new care & pumpkin juice! Furthermore, I drink a lot of water! I think drinking water can help you for deswelling!

I feel that day by day shape of my face is changing it! I wish that I can practice mouth exercise every day so I can make natural face expression soon! I hope that my minor swelling can be reduced soon too! Also, I just draw my eyebrow & apply sun cream on my face and hang out with my friend! She said that I become really pretty!!Ya! I am so happy! Furthermore, I met my grandma too she kept staring at my face and I was asking her why. She said that she cannot recognize me because I get much prettier!

Nowadays, I am eating very well (soft food, no chewing and swallowing food); sleeping well, take medicine well!

I am going to  stitch out tomorrow. The roughest part is I cannot eat all the food that what I want to eat! I wish that I can stick out soon and eat! But I am kind of afraid that I might be painful when I do stitch out.

Today, I ate chicken soup with ginseng! Finally, I ate something that is real food! I want to eat this soup more often! Also, I am worried about my swelling because it reduces differently but when I ask the consultant she said it's normal, so I feel relief!

I did makeup for the first time after surgery and it was a bit unnatural for me because of swelling. But I can totally realize that my face gets much smaller when I do makeup! Also, I did a part-time job today, and one of our frequent customers told me that I get much prettier! I was really happy and I think that I made the right choice for the hospital J

I visited the hospital today to get my revised wafer & check up! Also, I did full makeup today since I will meet my friend who lives in Seoul! But I still have swell on my cheek area which makes my face looks unnatural but I really like my new face! I ate lunch and visited the hospital at 6 o clock and EU staff told me that I look really pretty that I was so happy! J

In those days I ate a lot of salty food that my face looks swell more than any other days. I should avoid salty food & noodles. Furthermore, I realize how important walking it is! From now on I will walk a lot and eat less salty food! I wish that my face can look more natural after minor deswelling!
