Motivation of the surgery

The typical cucumber-type lanternjaw made the face look longer. I had braces since I was young, but I regretted not having them in the middle and visited the dentist twice to get them done again.  The dentist said that the surgery should be done after the jaw has grown out. I really wanted to have surgery before I went to university, so I started looking for a hospital. The most important part to choose the hospital is the difference between before & after surgery photos because I tend to pursue naturalness. I chose Dr. Shin because I liked his outcome of the surgery. When I went with my mom, I saw the doctor's explanation in detail and the doctor and consultant explain to me very detail!

Post op 1 day

I felt dizzy after the operation, but I didn't feel sick at all. I was just very sleepy. The nurse told me not to sleep until nine and drink water. I even imagined drinking water because I wanted to drink it. The nurse told me not to sleep, but I fell asleep little by little. As time went by, it was hard to breathe. My left nose is blocked and I have a tube on the right, but I can't breathe. I don't know if I'm breathing through my mouth .But the person next to me suffered because of upset stomach.. At nine o'clock, I drank water, and when I drank water, I started to feel sick, and then I spit out the blood that was still there. It's disgusting because it only spits blood, but it wasn't hard to vomit. And I was sleeping, and I was surprised to see blood coming out of my mouth, so I called the nurse. She calmed me down that I could. Thank you so much for coming right away without sleeping when I pressed the button.

Post op 2 days

I take an X-ray, see a doctor, sterilize it, and wear a wafer well, I feel much better. I felt good because everyone said I wasn't swollen much! My hips hurt when I sit down. You'd better put a blanket or something on your butt. I took a humidifier and a blanket, but both of them were useful. I hope you all take it with you. Personally, I think it is easier to cool the room temperature a little bit and less swollen than keeping it warm. I felt it was really easy to breathe in the morning when I took my nose tube, and it wasn't hard at all. It's all right except I can't talk.

Post op 3 days

On the second night, I was afraid to sleep because my nose was stuffed up and it was hard to breathe. I had a good night's sleep and woke up. I went home to see a doctor and rested, but the hospital was more comfortable and comfortable than resting at home.

Post op 4~5 days

I took off the tape and got comfortable, but my face is heavy. And it really hurts when I take it off. It won't come off. I didn't know when I was on the tape, but my throat was swollen. Also, I was so hard to the antibiotics medicine since it was such a big one! I went to the hospital to get a laser, but my face got swollen on the way and I had to rest in between because I felt dizzy and tired on the way. After such a hard trip, the swelling seems to decrease a little, so I went to the hospital as often as possible.

Post op 7 days

I came here with disinfection and laser treatment. My face gets puffy every morning.

Post op 8 days

My swelling goes down very easily in the evening. It's weird and I can't adapt to it because my jaw is not long anymore. I wonder what will happen if the swelling goes down more here.

Post op 12 days

Now the swelling is not gone noticeably, but the swelling is gone, and if the face used to be heavy, it would be a little lighter.

Post op 13 days

The stitches in the mouth make my mouth feel tight when I talk or laugh. Ice cream cake (cream only), pumpkin porridge, pudding, new care, steamed eggs, etc. I thought of many things to eat.

Post op 15 days

I got rid of the stitches. I'm so happy to brush my teeth. It's different from gargle. It's hard to use a big toothbrush and my jaw is stiff, but I feel like I'm back to my normal life, so I just like it.

Post op 17~18 days

The swelling has become lighter than before. The swelling around the neck seems to have gone down a lot, and there are few yellow bruises and pains. I watched a movie and hung out with my friends outside, but it's definitely the best house. Even though it's frustrating, I lose my stamina when I go out and I can't eat.

Post op 21 days

I went to my grandmother's house, all the adults said, "My face got younger and I became babies, so my face got better." I was anxious that my grandma to figure out that I did surgery. She was worried that my face lost so much weight that my face got smaller.

Post op 23 days

When I woke up right after eating spicy and salty food, my chin, cheeks, and nose were so swollen. I think it's noticeable in the picture. I was talking to my hairdresser and she said, "She was surprised to hear that I did double jaw Surgery." She said my result is good because I look so natural.

Post op 26 days

I went to a part-time job after reduce swelling on my face. But my friends think that I lost a lot of weight that my face looks slimmer. They didn't suspect that I did facial bone surgery at all, so I thought I look very natural.

Post op 30 days

My friends said the surgery went well. One said, "She thought I had a nose job and my chin just gets skinny." To be sure, I was able to show my profile confidently and I felt that I gained confidence, so I was very happy on my own. I think I gain a lot of stuff after surgery.

Post op 40 days

If I don't tell them I've got double jaw surgically, they ask me if I've had a nose job. And I think I just lost weight on my chin because I gained a lot of weight before.  And when I did double jaw surgery, I could not eat and lose weight, so I could wear whatever I wanted. Haha

Post op 59 days

It was really nice that my chin got shorter and people looked at other parts of my face first. My impression is much softer than before and I'm really satisfied.​
